NAMI Peer to Peer is a 10 week educational program open to adults dealing with mental illness. The course is a holistic approach to recovery taught with lectures, discussion, exercises and stress management techniques. Peer to Peer provides a "tool kit" for people to help them understand diagnoses, symptoms, medications and the personal experience of living with mental illness. Peer to Peer is taught by a pair of NAMI-trained individuals who deal with mental illness in their own lives.


NAMIĀ Family to Family is a 12 week educational program targeted towards family members and friends of individuals with mental illness. It's main focus is on support of the family and includes diagnoses, symptoms, medications, advocacy, communication skills, community resources and problem solving. It is taught by two NAMI-trained individuals who have a family member living with mental illness.
